Uber is a global on-demand platform that provides new capabilities for public transit agencies to reach more riders, including people who may never have taken transit before. Uber Transit is excited to bring our technology and expertise to help public transit agencies build smarter cities by leveraging the Uber platform to complement their conventional services with programs such as first-mile/last-mile, late-night, and paratransit rescue rides, to name a few. This flexible service delivery model has helped transit agencies such as Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), Pace Suburban Bus, and Regional Transportation District (RTD) maintain and improve service levels to meet operational goals during an uncertain and challenging operating environment.
